ISO-9001

This standard provides a framework for managing business operations and continually improving all aspects of our organization. Our ISO-9001 registered quality management systems at our animal health facilities maximize effectiveness and efficiency by enhancing our systems, processes, products, and services. It also ensures sustained customer satisfaction by furthering our technical service and supporting functions to better meet our customers’ needs.

Regulation (EC) NO 178/2002

Oil-Dri complies with all relevant and applicable rules and regulations regarding food and feed safety as set forth by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Abiding by these regulations helps guarantee the safety of our products for both humans and animals.

International Safe Feed/Safe Food

Select manufacturing facilities are certified International Safe Feed/Safe Food plants. This voluntary and independently certified program, designed for the feed industry, establishes comprehensive standards of excellence that go beyond existing regulations to maximize food and feed safety. This certification assures our customers that our products are safe, healthy, trust-worthy feed and food solutions.

HACCP Certification

Effective hygiene control is vital to avoid the adverse human health and economic consequences of foodborne illness and food spoilage. Oil-Dri uses modern hygiene controls that follow the HACCP regulations at every stage of production. The HACCP system used in our manufacturing process is certified by NSF International, an independent certification organization.

Ingredient Traceability

Oil-Dri has comprehensive procedures in place that allow us to track and identify any unwanted pathogens in our food and animal feed products. We deploy internal systems that can trace products from the farm back to their origins.

HALAL Certification

All of our feed additives use ingredients that are approved by major regulatory bodies such as AAFCO, the FDA, or The European Union for use in feed products. This practice, along with our heavily monitored manufacturing processes, helps secure the safety of the animal and brings us into compliance with applicable human dietary standards.

Quarterly Testing

Oil-Dri enlists the services of independent analytical laboratories in the USA and EU to test our products and measure their compliance with regulations.

Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI)

Our goal is to provide natural, safe solutions that enhance the innate ability of the body to heal and grow. That’s why we are proud to carry the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) seal of approval on many of our products. OMRI is an international nonprofit organization that determines which input products are allowed for use in organic production and processing. OMRI Listed^®products are approved to be used in certified organic operations under the USDA National Organic Program.

FAMI/QS

FAMI/QS is a certification created exclusively for specialty feed ingredients and their mixtures. Many countries require the FAMI/QS certification to sell and market specialty feed ingredients within their borders. Oil-Dri consistently meets the requirements set forth by FAMI/QS and has acquired certifications for all applicable products and production facilities where such products are manufactured.
